First steelwork is in on Chiswick Park Footbridge

As lead designer on Chiswick Park Footbridge we are tracking progress on site closely. Last week, the four support legs went in and the steelwork has already started developing a beautiful orange patina. Find out more on our project page.

IStructE new HQ opens

The Institution of Structural Engineers moved into their New Headquarters at the beginning of January. Working with Hugh Broughton Architects Expedition designed the structural alterations to the 1960’s building, including the unusual new ‘horizontal cantilever’ stair. The stair is inspired by the structural action of traditional stone “cantilever” stairs.
