It was great to hear some of our groundbreaking work on bridge dynamics has been published this week in the Structural Engineering International Journal.
Working jointly with the University of Cambridge, Dr Pete Winslow’s paper details some of our experiences on the Stockton footbridge, where multiple tuned-mass dampers were used to achieve the necessary high-performance of this super-slender footbridge.
We’ve since been applying this experience to our latest bridge project in Chiswick Park in order to achieve what we believe is yet another elegant design solution. You can check it out for yourself on the project pages.
