Expedition is delighted to announce that the construction of the TensegriTree has been successfully completed! This novel tree-like tensegrity sculpture can now be seen shining in the sun in the University of Kent Campus. The sculpture will provide a permanent memorial celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the University of Kent and the 10th Anniversary of the founding of Kent School of Architecture, as well as being an inspirational example of mind-bending “floating compression” for the students.
Expedition has designed this new exciting tensegrity form working in close collaboration with the University of Kent and their students, Cambridge University, University of Rome Tor Vergata and ESGlobal.
We are looking forward to the official inauguration of the sculpture!
