There was more great news for the Velodrome this week as it took away part of the spoils from the Civic Trust Awards 2013.
Along with the Special Award for best Olympic and Paralympic Project it was a finalist for the Selwyn Goldsmith Award for Universal Design. The judges described the project as a ‘stunning building that will become a lasting legacy for the Lower Lea Valley and the Olympic Park’.
