We are very pleased to be a part of the winning team chosen to design a new university for Milton Keynes with Hopkins Architects. This new university, on a prominent city site, will provide undergraduate education in digital technologies, design thinking, business and entrepreneurship. The project is the result of a collaboration between Milton Keynes Council and Cranfield University and the competition was organised by Malcolm Reading Consultants.

Expedition will be acting as Civil and Structural engineers and Sustainability consultants for the project, working alongside Hopkins Architects Atelier Ten Prior+Partners and Gross.Max.

Project Director Judith Sykes said ‘we are delighted to have this opportunity to work with Cranfield University and Milton Keynes on this important vision for the Oxford and Cambridge innovation corridor and look forward to collaborating with the Client, Hopkins Architects and the wider design team to help redefine higher education for the 21st Century’.

The winning proposal can be viewed in the Shortlist Gallery

Congratulations to all of our team!
