Pea Soup House raises awareness of air pollution by communicating a normally invisible issue using soup and a coloured coded air quality index – green (1) being clean to red (10) being polluted. The temporary installation at the RIBA headquarters on Portland Place will be serving a coloured soup depending on the air quality for the day.
Expedition teamed up with FCBStudios to provide structural and construction advice as well helping with the build. The installation uses low cost, carbon neutral materials to create a high impact, transportable installation. It raises awareness of air pollution and brings together communities through food.
