With a background working across both engineering and architecture, Alistair’s ingenuity enables him to identify solutions to complex projects that others will often miss. Having joined Expedition from Foster + Partners, he is able to apply engineering knowledge to create architectural solutions. His cross-discipline design skills have previously helped create some iconic pieces of engineering including Wembley Stadium, the Millau Viaduct and the Padre Pio Church in south Italy.
Alistair’s input on projects has been known to result in multi-million pound cost savings through simplified construction logistics.
Alistair’s areas of expertise include major venues, transportation design and infrastructure planning.
Often invited to act as a specialist design reviewer on major projects, Alistair is also a part time design tutor at the Architectural Association.
