Clement is a highly skilled technical design engineer with a deep understanding of other disciplines and their interaction. A chartered engineer, he is a strong collaborator and a practical problem solver through all stages of design from concept to fabrication and on site.
Clement joined in October 2007 attracted by Expedition’s innovative approach to structural engineering and has since been involved in a variety of projects, from the design and construction of experimental buildings, to large scale commercial and residential projects. Most recently Clement has been a key contributor to the successful delivery of the Aga Khan Centre building in King’s Cross.
A graduate from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, he is bilingual French/English and has been involved in a number of projects in France and Monaco.
Clement has a strong interest in sustainability and in particular how more material-efficient structures can result in buildings with a lower environmental impact. He currently leads Expedition’s sustainability group.
