Neil’s diverse experience includes the design, management and delivery of a variety of challenging mixed-use commercial, residential, arts & leisure, educational and historic building projects. He has expertise in working with both traditional and modern construction methods for new-build and existing buildings; often through the addition of new storeys, extending existing floorplates and the construction of basements.
Since joining Expedition, Neil has been working on maximising the potential of several commercial and residential developments in prominent London locations including three additional glass-clad office floors to a building in Euston Road, combining two derelict office buildings and conversion to residential over restaurant in Soho, creating more lettable area within a ‘70s office and shopping mall in Hammersmith and building boutique apartments in Mill Hill.
Neil has also completed a variety of pre-planning structural feasibility studies to assist clients and architects in unlocking sites and the on-going development of their proposals.
His keen interest and working experience of numerous construction forms and techniques allows him to develop economic, low-risk, structurally efficient and durable solutions which maximise the potential of the client brief, provide added benefit to the building users and help retain the asset value of the development over the long-term.
