rising tower in Turin - 10/04/13

If you happen to have been walking along Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Turin recently you may have noticed a tower getting taller and taller…

Working with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Expedition developed the structural design for the new headquarters of Intesa SanPaola Bank in collaboration with Studio Ossola in Turin. The 166m tall tower will be contained between two glass panels and supported by six mega columns with a 400 seat auditorium at the base that will be suspended three storeys above the ground. It’s quite an exciting structure.

It’s great to see the Intesa SanPaolo Tower now standing out as a new iconic building of Turin skyline and we can’t wait to see the view of the Alps from the top once completed.
