We are delighted to be part of the engineering season at the V&A Museum in South Kensington as part of the Mind over Matter exhibit celebrating contemporary British engineering. We are sharing models, samples and photos of the design and construction of the lightweight solar collector canopy which has been built at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The visit will take you through the development of the design, the prototyping and testing of ferrocement as a building material, and the construction methods adopted to build this unique structure in Athens.
The display is on until Sunday, November 6. More information about the display can be found on the V&A website.
