Our team led by 5th Studio including Momentum Transport ConsultancyTurner & Townsend and Georgia Sharpe with our sister company Thomas.Matthews has won the contract to develop a regeneration vision for Stratford Station in east London. The commission is backed by the London Legacy Development Corporation.

The project – supported by Network RailLondon Borough of Newham and Transport for London – will identify a ‘long-term future’ for the area bordering Stratford town centre and Westfield Stratford City which serves as the gateway to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The study will look at ways to improve the interchange station and how it links to the nearby Stratford International Station. It will examine boosting connectivity between the Olympic Park and Stratford town centre, and will also explore initiatives to make the station more accessible and passenger-friendly.
