Expedition worked with architects Stanton Williams on the two glass entrances to Tottenham Court Road underground station at St Giles Plaza, in front of Centre Point in central London. They are part of a larger redevelopment of Tottenham Court Road station and have been built following the completion of the new ticket hall structures below. The largest entrance canopy is 15m tall and the second is a smaller structure of 9.5m high and opened in early 2017. Between the two structures is a glass floor at plaza level over the ticket hall areas below. Expedition worked closely with specialist contractor Seele to develop the design with primary framing of glass and stainless steel composite beams and column.
