Expedition worked on behalf of London & Regional Properties with Origin Group housing association and with design & build contractor, Eugena, to deliver 27 residential units on this tricky, brown-field site within walking distance of King’s Cross & St Pancras Stations in London.

The scheme provided a mix of one, two and three bedroom maisonettes, flats and duplex units. And the finished building incorporates a green roof and solar thermal water heating.

In addition to the challenges posed by interfaces with adjoining buildings, this site was previously occupied by a Texaco service station and sits on the alignment of the River Fleet, one of London’s ancient watercourses. From an early stage, Expedition engaged with the site investigation and remediation strategy, allowing the development potential of this challenging site to be realised.
